A key aspect of this is the contribution of the HR function to the overall business – and in this particular case, the UK HR Business Manager.
This role has a broad spread of operational/strategic HR responsibilities for the UK HR function including:
  • UK HR Risk management, governance and compliance – liaising with Internal Audit, Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal as well as external bodies to oversee all related matters, produce risk reports and advise senior management.
  • UK HR Budgetary and Headcount oversight of all relevant reporting, business continuity planning/monitoring and advising senior management (includes oversight of recruitment SLA/KPI etc)
  • HR Communications – liaise with Internal Comms funtion to ensure effective internal HR Comms strategy, manage HR web portal and oversee entire employee survey process.
  • Ensure delivery of COO initiaves in the UK to ensure timely, on budget delivery of all relevant projects – inc diversity, compensation/sucession related etc.
This is a fabulous role for an experienced HR Business Manager (with prior experience of the above areas within a financial services environment) at VP/Director level to take a leading role, working closely with senior management to bring about real business change.
You should have prior relevant experience of HR and the UK HR regulatory/legal framework, and be a highly credible solutions driven professional, able to influence and contribute at a senior level in the organisation, and able to leverage virtual teams.
Degree level qualification is essential – ideally in HR, Accountancy, Management etc.
