HR Director – Infrastructure (Investment Banking) – c. £100,000 base + benefits + bonus
Our client – a major global investment bank, is looking for an experienced HR business partner to take the lead role in providing high quality divisional HR support to an Infrastructure client base (including Finance, Operations, IT, Risk, etc). The role reports to the Regional Head of HR, and the incumbent will need to build strong working relationships with the global and regional business heads. The client base (c.500) is mainly based in the UK from a delivery perspective, however strategic/project based aspects of the role will require a more global outlook. The position has one VP level HRBP reporting directly with access to further shared resource. The HR function operates a ‘centres of excellence’ model, so the role holder will need to build strong relationships with HR colleagues as well as possessing a strong, complete HR ‘tool-kit’ themselves.
This is a senior position in the firm (HRD level) and will require an experienced HRBP with the gravitas to be confident and credible with senior stakeholders – so must be able to demonstrate prior experience of owning senior relationships. This could possibly be a ‘step-up’ role for a senior VP, however, the right individual will need to be intelligent, articulate, with the strength of character and personal drive for excellence required. The successful candidate will need to have prior banking infrastructure HR experience and be able to illustrate sound knowledge of the industry.
