Interim HRIT/HCM Project Consultant – 6 month contract (Investment Banking, London City) Up To £400 per day
This leading global investment bank is currently undertaking a project to move from a local HCM system (PeopleSoft v8.8) to a new global HCM system (Oracle Fusion). As part of this project there is a requirement for a specific Learning Management System (LMS) application – Cornerstone On Demand – to be implemented.
Reporting to the Head of HR Projects, there are two specific aspects to this interim contract:
1) Implement Cornerstone On Demand LMS locally, from proposing data/rules migration solutions, integration and acceptance testing, through to managing successful go-live.
2) Provide additional expertise and assistance on the wider migration project from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion locally, including proposing data/rules migration analysis/solutions, preparing potential data cleansing operations, integration and acceptance testing, Parallel Run Gap Analysis and general team assistance with go-live.
The following experience is required for this role:
Strong implementation experience of Cornerstone On Demand LMS.
Strong experience of PeopleSoft HCM (v8.8-9.0) – specifically around Workforce Administration, Compensation, and Time & Labor modules.
Good understanding of HR business processes
Strong ability to perform technical/functional analyses and write high quality business requirements and technical specifications.
Candidates will also need to be able to display advanced communication skills, as this role forms the link point between end users and IT specialists. A team playing approach and the willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ is essential. Flexibility, initiative, pro activity, along with dynamism, a strong work ethic and a track record of delivering projects within deadlines are also required skills/traits.
Candidates will ideally have worked within investment banking, or wider financial services, or have delivered projects in similar multi-national complex environments. Appropriate consulting experience will also be considered.
